Q ¡V What is the difference between the XS bulbs and regular bulbs? Q ¡V What is your return policy? Q ¡V Do you offer any kind of discounts? ¡@ ¡@ Q ¡V Are these bulbs street legal for my usage? A ¡V Well, each state has its own laws regarding auxiliary lighting. The Kelvin color temperature is 4200K, and as far as the color is concerned, YES they are legal. The high wattage bulbs may exceed the DOT regulations for brightness in certain areas and are labeled for ¡§off-road/show car use only¡¨. However, these are, by far, the more popular wattage and we have never witnessed the authorities remove a bulb to check the wattage. ¡@ Q ¡V Will these melt my wiring, melt my housing, or run down my alternator? A ¡V If they are installed correctly and your wiring is not defective, even the high wattage bulbs should not damage wiring. The additional 35 watts from the higher wattage draws less than 3 amps of power. As a reference, your brake lights use approximately 70 watts (6 amps) and a cigarette lighter draws nearly 220 watts (18 amps.) In a poorly ventilated enclosure, typically the bulb will fail before any damage is done to the housing. In such an instance, the standard wattage is necessary and will provide a long service life. ¡@ Q ¡V What do you mean ¡§installed correctly¡¨ & why can't I touch the glass? A ¡V NEVER touch the glass bulb when you are installing your Xenons. The oils from your hands will literally boil on the bulb and the bulb will warp or shatter from it. If you did touch the bulb, thoroughly wipe the entire glass casing off with a very soft lotion-free cloth and a small amount of rubbing alcohol. It is a good idea to wipe them off even if you're sure you haven't touched them. Also - make sure your connectors are clean and lubricated, regardless of which bulbs you use. Even with stock halogens, dirt on connectors causes resistance which can lead to excessive heat, bulb failure, or damage. Following these simple guidelines will insure a long operating life for your bulbs and complete safety of use. ¡@ Q ¡V How long will these bulbs last? A ¡V These Xenons will far outlast your stock halogens if installed correctly. The standard wattages do tend to last a little longer than the higher wattages ¡V but in either case you can expect several years of life from your Xenon bulbs. ¡@ Q ¡V Is installation difficult? A ¡V Generally, no. They are shaped the same, and operate in the same fashion as any replacement stock halogen. Pull the old bulb out, plug the new bulb in. Installation is no different than any replacement bulb ¡V these just work a whole lot better! ¡@ Q ¡V Do I need to rewire or modify anything for these to work? A ¡V NO! Just pull the old one out, plug the new one in! ¡@ Q ¡V My car/truck has sealed beams. Can I still use these? A ¡V Not without purchasing a new housing kit, which will accommodate replaceable bulbs. ¡@ Q ¡V How are your bulbs different than these $9.95 bulbs being sold? A ¡V True Xenons are not available at your local auto parts store - private performance shops maybe, but NOT at major auto parts stores. The 'cool' blue bulbs you see there are nothing more than tinted glass bulbs which do NOT contain xenon gas, let alone a percentage high enough to give you the xenon look you're after or improve your vision. Anything which proudly touts "blue" in the title is defeating the purpose of xenon: to provide a high Kelvin color temperature as close to pure WHITE as possible for the purposes of improved vision. Colors reduce your vision, just as your stock yellow bulbs do. ¡@ Q ¡V What kind of bulbs do I need? A ¡V The most accurate way to determine which bulb you need is to pull the stock bulb out and check it for a number such as 9005, 9006, 9004, 9007, H4, etc. Manufacturers can report wrong information, owner¡¦s manuals can be wrong ¡V this is a surefire way to get the correct bulbs. ¡@ Q ¡V Are these ¡§factory seconds or rejects¡¨? A ¡V NO NO NO!! These are top of the line, brand new, first quality products. ¡@ Q ¡V I have daytime running lamps; is this a problem? A ¡V No, but you may consider the standard wattage bulbs for these vehicles. The higher a wattage is on ANY kind of light bulb, the shorter its lifespan is. This is amplified with daytime running lamps as they are on much more than on other vehicles. In a nutshell, you can use them safely but they won't last quite as long. ¡@ Q ¡V Do these come with a warranty? A ¡V They are guaranteed to be free from manufacturer defect for a period of 30 days post sale. Due to the nature of the product, bulbs may be returned for defect only. Please double check to make sure you have ordered the correct model number. For more detailed information, please see our warranty coverage page here. Please note that due to the nature of the product, bulbs may be returned for defect only. ¡@ Q ¡V What is the difference between the XS bulbs and regular bulbs? A ¡V The 9005XS and 9006XS bulbs are no better than any other Eaglite bulb. They are just different models for specific new model Chrysler vehicles. They are NOT interchangable with standard 9005 or 9006 bulbs. ¡@ Q ¡V What is your return policy? A ¡V Xenon bulbs may be returned for manufacturer's defect only. All returns must be pre-approved & bulbs must be in their original, undamaged retail packaging. ¡@ Q ¡V Do you offer any kind of discounts? A ¡V Yes. We offer a discount for quantity orders of 10 or more pair, priced according to amount.
